Visitor facilities
Facilities
Our new Visitor Centre is in the restored 18th century Long Barn. This is the centre-piece of the restored Home Farm. The Long Barn provides a visitor entrance, shop, café, toilet facilities, including disabled toilet, and also a visitor information centre with interpretation about the parkland trails and garden attraction.
The cafe is open to serve hot food, lunches and snacks between 10am-3pm, and will continue to serve drinks and cakes, until 4pm.
Dogs
Dogs are welcome (on a lead) to explore the newly-opened parkland trail. We regret that we do not allow dogs, other than guide dogs and hearing dogs, into the gardens.
Wentworth Castle
Wentworth Castle is the home of the Northern College for Residential Adult Education. We will be runing guided house tours in 2010, please contact us on 01226 776040 for further details.
