The Middle Garden houses part of the collection of Hardy Hybrid Rhododendron. A total of 88 different hardy hybrids have, thus far, been identified. A number of these are quite rare in the country and several may have been bred at Wentworth, during the late-19th and early 20th centuries.

There are beautiful views of the Middle Garden from the viewing platform in the Secret Garden.
